About Me

Kelly here! An artist at my core, I have been creating since I was a girl. From my first camera to my first paint brush, I love to capture beauty and special moments.  Fascinated by dark room photography, I spent 4 years watching my photographs come alive under a red light. When I switched to digital, I felt the thrill while editing and printing my work. With over 15 years of photography experience, I have taken my knowledge with me on many trips. World traveler and nature lover, I have been fortunate enough to have amazing adventures around the globe. These include working at a yoga ashram for 2 months Australia, being an au pair in China, studying photography in Scotland and many road trips around the United States. I love meeting new people and photographing the moments on my trips and in my everyday life here in Salt Lake City. I have created a photo book every year for the last several years documenting what my husband and I have done, from a board game night to a 3 month backpacking trip in Europe. I love to look back on it all as I sip on my tea. Often imagining myself as an 80 year old woman who is happy she documented so many amazing aspects of her life, from dinner that one night to her 30th wedding anniversary to hosting a women's retreat. Healing and personal growth are the core of my being. As I strive to be a light in this world, I continue to face my darkness. I currently see an energy healer that is assisting me on my journey. Thank you for finding your way to my site and reading this. I am truly grateful to you and for you!

Are you a Woman in Wellness? and why is that TwentyOne Sips focus?

I do consider myself a Woman in Wellness. Yoga was one of my first steps into holistic living when I was 20 years old. I found it life changing and it has been a part of my healing journey. I have assisted and cooked for 2 women's retreats here in Utah and found such a joy in that. Not only did I grow myself during these retreats, but I was able to support others on their journey. With Women in Wellness sessions, I continue to help support women as they support others. I want all of our businesses to thrive and I believe that having great photo representations assists in this. With social media being such a large part of the industry at this time, images are everything (at least on Instagram :-) ) and I can help with that. Working with Women in Wellness is such an incredible honor. I believe that the universe helps the right clients to find me. I get to support my business and joy, while also promoting and assisting others in theirs. I believe in the power of healing ourselves through many different modalities. I have seen acupuncturists, chiropractors, Ayurveda consults, yoga instructors, Reiki healers, massage therapists and the list goes on. I love working with like minded women and it is such an incredible experience every time! I trust in the Universe and in all the women who reach out to me for a session

Why do I call my business TwentyOne Sips Lifestyle Photography?

Well. . . Photography is part of my lifestyle and I love to capture my everyday moments in a beautiful and unique way. My grandmother had twenty-one grandchildren. A number she was very proud of and often shared. It was one of my greatest joys to be her granddaughter and I learned a lot from her. As I imagine myself sipping tea and looking back on my life, I imagine showing her all the photos I have taken while she sips her coffee. Reminiscing. Remembering. Sharing. Photographs last. They help the memories shine. Sharing them with friends and family is a great way to stay connected to each other and to see where you have been and how much you have grown. Looking back at your social media and seeing how you and your business has grown can be incredibly rewarding as well. Having these images to mark the time and progress in our lives has been wonderful support for me and I hope it is for you.

This is me. TwentyOne Sips into life.
